VisaWatch is operated by Pevide Studio LLC ("we," "our," or "the App"). Pevide Studio LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application. By using VisaWatch, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

When you use VisaWatch, you may provide the following information:

  • USCIS receipt numbers
  • Case nicknames (optional labels you create)
  • Priority dates (optional, for Visa Bulletin tracking)
  • Visa category and country of chargeability (optional)
  • Beneficiary name (optional)

Important: All personal case information is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your receipt numbers, case details, or any personally identifiable information.

B. No Account Required

VisaWatch does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier. The app is designed to be completely anonymous.

C. Feedback Data

If you choose to submit feedback through the app, we collect your message along with basic device metadata (device model, app version, and OS version) to help us improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Case Tracking: Your receipt numbers are sent to the official USCIS API to retrieve your case status. This data is not stored on our servers.
  • Visa Bulletin: We retrieve publicly available Visa Bulletin data from our database to show you dates relevant to your case.
  • Notifications: Push notifications are generated locally on your device. We do not send push tokens to any external server.
  • App Improvement: Feedback submissions help us identify bugs and improve features.

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All personal case data (receipt numbers, nicknames, status history, priority dates) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, protected by your device's built-in encryption. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.

Remote Storage

Our backend (hosted on Supabase) stores only:

  • Public Visa Bulletin reference data
  • User-submitted feedback

All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

4. Third-Party Services

VisaWatch uses the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Cloud database for Visa Bulletin data and feedback storage. No personal case data is sent to Supabase.
  • Apple StoreKit: For subscription management. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Services We Do NOT Use

  • No advertising networks or ad tracking
  • No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar)
  • No data brokers or data selling
  • No social media SDKs
  • No crash reporting services that collect personal data

5. Data We Do NOT Collect

VisaWatch does not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • Your location data
  • Your contacts or address book
  • Your IP address (not logged by the app)
  • Cookies or persistent advertising identifiers
  • Photos, camera, or microphone data
  • Health, fitness, or biometric data

6. Children's Privacy

VisaWatch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not require account creation or collect personal identifiers, no age-specific data is gathered.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Notifications: You can enable or disable case update and Visa Bulletin notifications in the app's Settings or through iOS Settings.
  • Data Deletion: Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To request deletion of any feedback data, contact us at the email below.
  • Subscription Management: Subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

8. Data Retention

  • Local Data: Retained on your device until you delete the case or uninstall the app.
  • Feedback: Retained indefinitely to help improve the app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
